Position Overview

Delta Marketing Group, an established strategic marketing firm providing integrated web, print, and promotions services, is seeking an experienced Communications Coordinator to support diverse communication needs, including writing and editing, managing social media initiatives, working with vendors, coordinating advertisements, and communication project tracking and scheduling.

TThe Communications Coordinator will assist clients and Delta executing content marketing efforts and will help moderate and coordinate communications via specific online platforms, and other social media channels. The coordinator will create content and manage the social media elements to foster interaction, education, engagement and discussion.

You'll Need to Possess

• Solid writing and editing skills (applicants will complete two writing tests).

Responsibilities

• Write and edit articles, blog posts, marketing copy, emails, and other communications.
• Writing and editing proposals.
• Develop/source and post engaging content to social media channels.
• Conduct research and learn about client products and target markets.
• Create audience profiles that guide content development and deliver relevant content to primary target audiences.
• Conduct SEO keyword research and develop optimization strategies for content.
• Coordinate approvals and edit, proofread and fact check before posting/publishing.
• Monitor social media channels and coordinate responses.
• Analyze content performance across channels and identify shifts in development and distribution to continually improve performance of content marketing strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, marketing, communications, or other related field.
• 1+ years experience in public relations/social media fields.

• Must have exceptional traditional writing and grammatical skills and a flair for content marketing.
• Extreme attention to detail and outstanding organization skills.
• Collaborative team player able to integrate with a diverse team full of opinions and ideas.
• Strong understanding of business applications of Linked In, Face Book, Twitter, Pinterest, WordPress, YouTube, and numerous other social media tools.
• Proven success in creating and producing social media content.

Position Overview

Our fast growing web marketing company is looking for a web developer / guru to join our team. If you have a lot of hands on experience with Word Press standard development, as well as Multisites development and maintenance, then we want to meet you. We're looking for someone with an interest in new technology trends, a strong understanding of user experience, and a "I can make that happen" attitude.

The person we're looking for is a master in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP. Projects will include multisite setup and maintenance, developing and improving user experience, implementing Word Press content management systems, and brainstorming and executing new interactive initiatives. This person must also be able to work independently or in a team with an assigned web designer. A thorough understanding of user experience design is essential. Familiarity with browser capabilities, user interface requirements, cross-platform testing, site architecture, and web server hardware are important to this position.

Qualifications

• Must have experience developing websites using web valid HTML & CSS.
• Experience with MySQL PHP, Wordpress or another CMS platform.
• Experience with custom Word Press themes, fields, and post types.
• Experience with Word Press Multisites/MU, and domain mapping is highly desirable.
• Experience with javascript integration.
• Can convert any PSD into Valid, Tableless, Optimized XHTML, and CSS.
• Knowledge of back-end database and server functionality.
• Competency in search engine optimization, browser compatibility, W3C standards and Web analytics.

The best candidate will have over 3 years of experience and be well-versed in cross channel communications—website, blogs, print, and social media. This writer should have the ability to concept smart ideas and compose compelling and relevant, SEO-minded copy on a variety of topics. This person must be comfortable working as a ghost writer – as they will not be credited as the article author.

Our client base is diverse, ranging from manufacturing, construction, hospitality, professional services, etc. for many different types of company campaigns across all media, new and old.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of thought-provoking concepts with a strong knowledge of the audience and voice needed to reach them.

We supply a Blog Request Outline, which presents a background of the client, a topic overview, keywords to include, and additional guidelines if necessary.
